The Role
Macquarie Medical Imaging (MMI), part of Macquarie University Health, is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead MRI Radiographer to join our Medical Imaging team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This senior clinical role provides hands-on MRI services while leading the day-to-day operational workflow of the MRI department, supporting staff capability development, and contributing to a high-performing, patient-centred imaging service within Australia’s first fully integrated academic health sciences precinct.
Working closely with Radiologists, imaging leadership and multidisciplinary clinical teams, you will deliver high-quality MRI services across a diverse caseload including outpatient, inpatient and research imaging, while providing leadership, supervision and mentorship to MRI Radiographers.

You are an experienced MRI Radiographer with strong clinical expertise and demonstrated leadership capability, who thrives in a collaborative, innovative and academically integrated healthcare environment.
You are confident working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, bring a strong commitment to professional development and patient care, and have the capability to lead teams and manage operational priorities in a busy hospital imaging service.
